What are the connectivity issues that arise when your team becomes a world champion? That was part of the questioning line we had for Robert Cordova, chief technology and strategy officer for the Milwaukee Bucks, when he joined us for a video interview at the ALSD Conference and Trade Show earlier this year.
Topics we discussed included not only connectivity inside the Bucks’ arena, Fiserv Forum, but also outside the arena, at the “Deer District” plaza which was overwhelmed by fans for “watch parties” during both home and away games. Cordova also discusses the potential for technologies like CBRS cellular and fan-density detection systems, both of which the Bucks are looking into.
“Connectivity is the oxygen,” is one of Cordova’s trademark statements — “things just work better” when you have it, he says. Listen for that and more in our video interview! Thanks to Robert and thanks to the folks at ALSD for having us at their conference. Stay tuned for more video interviews from Vegas coming soon!
