“5G is not hype.” That’s one of the key messages that came across in our interview with Justin Bushee, vice president of business development at Boingo, who joined us at the ALSD Conference and Trade Show in Las Vegas earlier this year.
Watch and listen as Bushee describes some of the new deployments underway from Boingo, which include 5G rollouts with AT&T at 12 major airports (including Chicago’s O’Hare and JFK in New York City) as well as Wi-Fi 6 deployments, like one covering New York City’s Rockefeller Center. Bushee also gets into the details for use cases for 5G technology, including in-venue gaming, among other applications.
